This semester, I’m trying to put up a blog post every other week to keep better track of my progress on the Bonhoeffer project. I’ll keep these updates short, but I want to use them as brief recaps and evaluations of what I’ve accomplished in that two-week time frame; they’ll be of as much use to me as to my bosses and any future potential employers.
So! Here’s a recap in list form for brevity’s sake:
- I wrote new goals for the semester. First, I wanted to create a subdomain specifically for my research blog posts (done––you’re looking at it), and I wanted to keep the blog current (successful so far). Second, I want to fully recognize what I accomplished during the first semester by compiling my work into a presentation (still in the works). Otherwise, I’ll be continuing to create prototypes of virtual tours to see which platforms work best.
- I experimented with virtual reality tours of famous landmarks, and I’m building another prototype on a different storymap platform. It’s my favorite platform so far, and I’m excited to finish it and get feedback from my bosses.
- I set up a meeting with my bosses for next week so we can review my progress and figure out our next steps.
I lost a few days of work to school stuff, so I wasn’t able to accomplish as much as I hoped to. I should be back on a normal schedule next week, and I’m hoping to finish the prototype I’m working on before the next update.
